Snow day catch up

Over the last week or so school has been crazy.  Snow days, teacher workdays and holidays have sent our lunches a muck.  I figured that I could post more than one lunch just to try and catch up.  

This snow day creation fun guy is a turkey & swiss sammie with strawberry hair.  His eyes are part string cheese and candy eyes.

Here is one one Bean new fave's!  Chicken sausage pesto pizza on a sandwich thin, strawberries, carrots, yogurt raisins and yogurt stars.

This pizza is super easy to make!  Store bought pesto spread thinly on the sandwich thin, chicken sausage,mozzarella and parm to top.  I bake mine until the cheese melts @350, normally less then 7 mins.

This is the day that I (a Polish girl) introduced my Chinese friend to a local Asian market that she's never been to!  We had a fun wandering around the market and picked up a few cool things.  There aren't any Japanese market's in the DC area that have bento items available (ok well none that I've found so far).   I was lucky enough to find a few bento items in a Korean owed market.  There were a few boxes, nothing fancy (I purchased three) and only one set of picks.  I did find two utensil sets that I have been looking for :)

Snack for a 2 hour school day....that's right they only went to school for 2 hours one day.  Mini cheese cracker & clementines held her over until she got home.
