I'm sure that I have mentioned this before and if not you'll be made aware now... but Bean will eat anything that has pesto on it. I mean anything! Yesterday for lunch pesto pasta salad was on the menu and seemed like an easy thing to throw in a bento for later.
TJ's dry cheese filled tortellini, a few generous spoons of pesto and sour cream (I personally don't care for mayo based salad so I use sour cream on ours instead), salt & pepper and 2 grated carrots. I know that carrots might sound odd here but they give the salad a nice crunch and get a few extra servings of veggies on the plate :)
